In early 2015 15 newly graduated individuals, commenced their career journey at BSG. They were exceptionally eager to learn, and empower themselves with transformative knowledge, insight and capabilities. On Friday, 29 January 2016 we celebrated their graduation, having completed the BSG Graduate Development Programme (GDP). The graduation and award ceremony, which took place at BSG’s Johannesburg offices, saw these young consultants and developers congratulated and thanked for their commitment and dedication during the intensive 12-month programme.

Each year, graduates joining BSG undergo a 12-month experiential learning-based programme, designed to ease their transition into the working world and prepare them for their career at BSG. This highly sought after and recognised graduate development programme, currently available to Information Systems (IS) and Computer Science (CompSci) Honours graduates, involves a combination of technical development, EQ mastery and broad-based experiential training. The programme ensures experience is gained in real life applications in their daily roles as either Consultant or Developer, under the mentorship of experienced consultants.

“We owe a huge part of our success to hiring only the best and one of the ways we do this is through our robust Development Programme, which is proven over 18 years to create a platform for accelerated growth” said Consider Bwerinofa, BSG’s Head of People Strategy.

BSG kicked off  its 2016 GDP on the 1st of February with the induction of the newest members of the BSG team; 20 graduates, from a range of leading South African universities.
