On 24 August, BSG will be represented by a team of seven at the Agile Africa 2015 conference to be held at the Protea Hotel Parktonian in Braamfontein.

BSG will be sharing insights with the audience on Agile methodologies alongside some renowned agile experts from the international community. One of our Business Consultant’s will be examining. The Human Apects of Agile Maturity. Those new to agile can look forward to hearing about the behavioural traits to look out for when structuring agile teams, and those already on the journey will be exposed to interventions to increase team maturity.

Another BSG Business Consultant will be facilitating the, newly introduced, 3rd track of the Agile Africa conference together with other scrum masters. The intention is to provide an open discussion space where delegates will be able to talk about issues they find relevant to them that may or may not have been covered by the formal presentations.

The thinking behind the 3rd track is that conferences are often “sterile” and people don’t get a chance to really debate the issues that matter to them. This platform will allow for debate and discussions.

In addition to sharing insights at the conference, 5 BSGers will also be attending as part of their Learning and Development (L&D) programme. L&D is an integral part of the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) at BSG and we encourage employees to attend training and courses to develop their skill in support of continuous learning and ongoing career development.

BSG’s EVP

As a niche consulting and technology company with almost two decades’ experience, BSG has had many years to consider and craft its EVP and comes from a position of strength in this regard. BSG’s continued commitment to optimising its EVP stems from its belief that happy employees are more productive. BSG’s People Effectiveness Executive, Susan Reis, who played a big part in the founding of BSG some 18 years ago, is the driving force behind its distinctive EVP “BSG has a deep belief that its culture of unlocking contribution and accelerating careers has a strong resonance with people looking to create a difference – for themselves, their clients and the broader communities in which we operate.”
