BSG was well represented at this year’s Agile Africa Conference, which kicked off on 24 August 2015. Two speakers representing the organisation and a number of delegates attending. The conference, which ran for three 3 days, featured seven international speakers, 290 delegates, six workshops, ten poster talks and 35 African speakers.
Presenting alongside renowned international agile experts, BSG shared insights on agile maturity. In addition to the two presenters who shared insights on agile practices, five consultants attended the conference as part of BSG’s commitment to on-going learning and development.
The poster below that was presented by on of our business consultants in the poster presentation track of the conference.
This poster talk examined the Human Aspects of Agile Maturity: those new to agile were able to gain insight into some of the behavioural traits to look out for when structuring agile teams, and those already on the journey were exposed to interventions to increase team maturity.
Another Senior BSG Business Consultant helped facilitate the Indaba Tree section of the conference, the intent of which was to provide an open space where delegates could raise questions and discuss points of view shared by conference speakers or burning questions not covered in the agenda with agile experts.
The conference was very successful and those who attended believed they gained significant insight from attending and look forward to bringing those lessons back to BSG and implementing them in their project environments.
